Summary

Bookster collects no data. We have no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no accounts with us.

How the app works

Bookster talks only to the Audiobookshelf server you choose. Your server address, username and API key are stored on your device (the key in the iOS Keychain). Listening progress, bookmarks and library data are exchanged only between your device and your server. Downloaded audiobooks stay on your device.

Invite links

Invite and access-request links carry their contents in the part of the address after #. Browsers never send that part to a web server, so getbookster.app cannot see it. Invites are encrypted and can be protected by a PIN.

This website

getbookster.app is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It sets no cookies. Cloudflare may process standard request logs (IP address, user agent) as a hosting provider.

Purchases

The optional tip jar uses Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles payment; we receive no personal information.

Children

Bookster does not collect any information from anyone, including children.
